Blandford - Where to go

Blandford is home to its own museum in Bere's Yard (opposite the Parish Church), Mrs Penny's Cavalcade of Costume in Lime Tree House and, just out of town, the Royal School of Signals Museum at Blandford Camp. Slightly further away are to be found the Ancient Hill Fort of Badbury Rings (National Trust) and, near Wimborne, Kingston Lacy House (National Trust). 5miles north of the town you will find Chettle House and village.

Blandford has an excellent Leisure Centre catering for a large range of activities. Facilities include squash, badminton, tennis and trampolining. The latest addition to the complex is the Swimming Pool with Flumes and Bubble Bath which replaces the old outdoor swimming pool which was situated on the Ham.
